Triste!!!!!

Our history, culture and heritage must be protected.

The site of EXPO-67 must be protected in perpetuity as a reminder of what has been and what is possible.

Really, it's nice and all, but we should get our priorities straight. There are roads to repair, and we need more public housing. Sell it to a private company with the caveat that they need to preserve it.

Expo 67 is a big part of our heritage and one of the reasons our wonderful city is so well-known today. Please save Place des Nations which is one of the few "marks" that this memorable event ever took place in our history! Thank you! Merci!

I have many great memories of Place des Nations from both the expo 67/Man and His World and the 1970s for musical concerts. Please preserve and revitalize the site for future generations!

Expo '67 was epic, magical and grand. It brought countries, cultures and people from all over the world to Montréal and was one of the catalysts for putting Montréal on the map internationally. Please save the little that remains of it for us and the générations to come. Thank-you.

Those were the best years of my life - full of education, geography, history, cultures, world music, art as well as entertainment. It is a great shame to destroy it when many beautiful things can be done with it.

I was there last year during the Age group Nationals at the pool. So I took a side trip to check it out.  Currently, it looks like a greek theatre ruin.  Cleaning it of the debris and rehabilitating the structures should do the trick.   Remember:  they spent $10 milllion for a TEMPORARY POOL on Ile- Notre-Dame for the FINA World Masters; so they should be able to find some change for this project.  Lots of memories of concerts;  the best of which was Loggins and Messina.
